Gear we work on
We work on most vintage synthesizers, drum machines and effects from the 70s and 80s. This includes most gear from Roland, ARP, Moog, Oberheim, Sequential Circuits, Korg, Yamaha, Linn, Akai, E-Mu Systems, Eventide, EMS, and more.
We also work on a selection of modern DJ Equipment from Pioneer and AlphaTheta.
Generally speaking we do not work on gear made after 1990. We like to work on gear that we are confident will not fail after service, for this reason (with some exceptions) we also typically do not work on combo organs, cassette tape machines, italian synths or Korg polysix or poly61.
We also offer service to build synths from your favorite through-hole kits such as the DinSync RE-303, RE-808, RE-909, Antonus 2600 full-size DIY etc
Rates
We currently charge a rate of $120/hr for services and bill in half hour increments. Any parts needed are billed in addition to service labor. Once gear is on the bench and opened up billing commences to cover time spent diagnosing. Most gear with minor issues can be diagnosed and repaired within a few hours.

Policies
We offer a 100% service guarantee. What this means is we have the gear running for a few hours after service to ensure there is no hang ups or unexpected issues. If for some unbeknownst reason the service we performed has faulted, we ask you to bring the gear back so we can fix the fault. Although we do our best to source the highest quality parts, we do not guarantee parts.
Due to the nature of our business, we do not fix gear while you wait around. We do not like to rush things, even for simple repairs.
Deposit of (half-hour) $60 is required upon dropoff of gear, this deposit goes towards your service cost.
Additional deposit may be required to cover expensive kits/parts for service to commence.
Typical turn around is 1-2 weeks once gear is dropped off unless otherwise noted. We do not like holding on to gear for extended periods of time due to limited shop space.
Invoice is due in full upon pickup. Any gear left for 2 weeks after repair is finished will be forfeited by its owner to the shop.
At this time, our payment options are strictly cash, zelle, paypal f&f. If other payment accommodations are needed please advise in advance.
